Holland Virginia Taylor was born on the 14th of January 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She hails from a family of five; her father’s name is Tracy while her mother’s name is Virginia. She also has two elder sisters named Patricia and Pamela. Holland Taylor grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Westtown School. She also studied drama at Bennington College, Vermont and obtained her degree in 1964. Taylor’s educational exploits did not stop at this juncture. She also holds a masters in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, which she obtained in 2005.


Holland Taylor commenced her career in the theatre in the 60s.
