Who is Eugene Levy?

The globally recognized actor was born to his parents, Joseph Levy and Rebecca Kudlats on 17th December 1946 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. His father, who worked as a honcho in a motor manufacturing company, was of Bulgarian Sephardic descent while his mother was of Polish Ashkenazi descent with Jewish origin.

Harold Kudlats, who was his maternal uncle, promoted music and brought rock and country music to Canada. He has a brother, Fred Levy who is also an actor. Regarding his ethnicity and nationality, Eugene Levy is a Caucasian Canadian with mixed descent.

In regards to his education, Levy attended Westdale Secondary School. Right after graduating from high school, he enrolled at McMaster University where he participated greatly in the university’s movie group and even became the vice president of the McMaster Film Board.
