The lucky guy is her A Different World co-star, Darryl M. Bell. He is also known for his role as Big Brother X-Ray Vision in the 1988 Spike Lee film School Daze.
The couple began their relationship five years after meeting for the first time. When asked how they have been able to stay together for this long despite not being married, Tempestt credited their happy relationship to compatibility, commitment to each other, and their ability to make each other laugh.
The lovers also co-starred in the Fox Reality Channel Series Househusbands of Hollywood, which debuted August 2009. Nobody is sure why they are not yet married or feel bothered about having kids, but Tempestt has urged people to respect their decision.
However, the curiosity never ended and they have responded by saying they believe in the institution of marriage and that nobody knows what’s going to happen in the next 20 minutes. Whether they get married or not, one thing is for sure; they are happy together. Those who want to see them walk down the aisle will just have to wait and see.
