Wendi Nix’s Bio and Age
Wendi Nix was born on the 17th of September, 1974 in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, United States of America. We do not have all the information about her birth mother but we do know that her father’s name is Wayne Nix. Wayne Nix used to be a high school football coach and also served as an athletic director. It comes as no shock that at an early age, Wendi was already exposed to the world of football. She once recounted that some of her earliest memories involve her running around a football field with her father. How adorable! No doubt, growing up with a football coach influenced her decision to build a career in the world of sportscasting. She was raised alongside her younger brother. She once revealed that she is 6 years older than her brother so for six years, she was considered an only child and developed a strong bond with her father. We are glad it worked out perfectly for her. Wendi Nix holds an American Nationality and a Caucasian Ethnicity.
For her education, Wendi Nix attended the Socastee High School located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She graduated high school in 1992 and immediately went to college, where she earned two degrees. Both from the Wofford College in Spartanburg, she bagged a degree in French and another in Economics. While at college, she served as the captain of the golf team and there are no surprises on our part. Furthering her education, Wendi Nix bagged her Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts in the year 1997. Her decision to earn a degree in a sport-related field showed that from a young age, she already decided to pursue a career in sports. In a world filled with indecisiveness, we think that is applaudable.
