Martina Markota is a New Yorker born on July 10, 1985. There is little or no information available about her parents, siblings, and elementary education. Despite having a degree in the physical sciences, Martina decided to use her logical ideologies to pursue other artistic interests. Growing up, she always had a flair for performing arts, history, and maths. While studying for her degree at NYU and in search of alternative means of survival, Martina decided to turn her passion into profit by performing as a burlesque dancer.

Endowed with a good sense of humour, creative dancing skills and of course good looks, Martina Markota debuted in the entertainment industry with the stage name Lady Alchemy. Drawing inspirations from renaissance artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Martina creatively infused ‘alchemy’ into her art and blew minds away. Her growth was a gradual but rewarding one as she soon carved a niche for herself and became a household name. A unique contemporary artist, Markota became known for her originality, fearless experimentations and expressions. She remained relatively popular and successful for no less than a decade, but then things changed.

While still working as a burlesque dancer, Markota decided to go vocal with her conservative views and also declared her unwavering support for Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election. However, that personal decision marked the beginning of Lady Alchemy’s career woes. Martina Markota was not just allegedly tagged a fascist, but many of her colleagues also refused to perform with her at events. She was thus persecuted and bullied out of the business. Consequently, Lady Alchemy was forced to quit her prolific career as a performance artist.

Thanks to the fame she had already gained as a burlesque dancer, Markota soon landed a job in another field – broadcasting. In 2017, she began working as a video producer and an on-air personality for the Daily Caller, a conservative media outlet. Martina Markota had a brief stint with the media outlet before taking up work as a political and social culture reporter for The Rebel Media team.
