Spokeo is a people-search website. The website was founded in 2006 by four Stanford University graduates. The founders are Mike Daly, Harrison Tang, Ray Chen, and Eric Liang. The current Chief Executive Officer is Harrison Tang. You can sign up and utilize Spokeo to gather important information, like family member information, birthday, property ownership and value details, sex offender data for neighborhoods, contact information, safety statistics, and more. There are currently over 18 million users registered with Spokeo. Spokeo has been featured on CNBC, Forbes, ABC, The New York Times, Huffington Post, and Fox News. The website relies on deep web crawlers to search public records, social media, and online registry from over 12 billion public record sources.
Spokeo allows you to enter a name, email address, phone number, or address to run an instant search. Once you have entered either one of this information, you can access the person’s contact information, location, social media profiles, and much more. Criminal and court records may also be accessible. Spokeo also has a “Connections” service that allows you to import your contact list and attempt to sync the information with what is on the Spokeo website. This feature is included for no additional cost. There are currently multiple plans available. The one-month subscription is $13.95 per month. The three-month plan is $23.85. The six-month plan is $29.70. For court and other historical records, there is an additional fee of $2.95 per record search.
