Experian offers business services, which include decision analytics and marketing, and consumer services, which online access to individual credit reports, fraud protection, and identity theft protection. In addition to the many locations and services. Experian owns and operates Mosaic, which is a company based in the United Kingdom. Mosaic is a market segmentation tool used by political parties to identify specific groups of voters and an online teaching resource “Values, Money, and Me” which is a guide for children.

Experian offers consumers one free copy of their credit report per year. You can purchase additional copies for $14.95 if you have an Experian Connect account. There is a fee to use the service to check someone else’s credit report. If you need to monitor your report more closely and protect any identity theft, there are paid plans available. The IdentityWorks Plus plan is for one adult and includes Dark Web surveillance, identity theft protection insurance for up to $500,000, identity theft monitoring and reports, access to a fraud specialist, locking and unlocking your personal report, and reports from Experian. It is $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually. The Premium plan is $19.99 per month of $199.99 annually. The Premium plan includes the same as the Plus plan, plus an additional $1M in insurance for fraud protection, additional identity monitoring services and reports from all three major credit reporting agencies. A Plus plan for 1 adult and up to 10 children is $14.99 per month or $149.99 annually. A Plus plan for 2 adults plus children is $19.99 per month or $199.99 annually. A Premium plan for 1 adult and up to 10 children is $24.99 per month or $249.99 annually. A Premium plan for 2 adults plus children is $29.99 per month or $299.99 annually. All plans come with a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, you will be charged automatically on a monthly basis.
