Unlucky Kalu out again after relapse of hamstring injury

Samuel Kalu is expected to be sidelined for several weeks again after he suffered a relapse of a hamstring injury that kept him out for more than a month.

Kalu was forced out of Friday night’s win by Bordeaux at Rennes after an hour when he again hurt the hamstring in his left leg.

The winger first suffered the injury in the Super Eagles 1-0 loss to African champions Algeria in Austria last month.

He returned to action yesterday and even provided the assist for the match winner, but must now face some weeks out of action yet again.
