Real Madrid midfielder Antonio Blanco says he and his teammates are excited ahead of the UEFA Youth League final.

Real will meet Benfica in the final on Tuesday.

Blanco says: “As our hymn says, ‘history that you made, history to be made’. We have made history and we have one game left to do something very beautiful. We have come to play four games and we know that this is a very important competition for the club because they have never won it.

“Tuesday is the day to get this title for which we have been working all year. Benfica is a great club. It has the experience of having played several finals. For us it is the first time, but Real Madrid always have to win the finals.

“The team is very good offensively and scoring goals. And in the previous three games have been very well defensively and we know that if we keep this line we can score and defend the goal.”
