New Real Betis sporting director Antonio Cordon has admitted his admiration for Real Madrid pair Dani Ceballos and Takefusa Kubo.

Kubo has spent the LaLiga season on-loan with Real Mallorca, while Ceballos is currently with Arsenal preparing for Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Cordon said, “It is a market that is going to be very long, that you have to be patient. I know that everyone is waiting for the signings, that there are incorporations, but we know the economic problem that exists in all of Europe practically, in Spain, and we know that it is going to be a difficult market for all the clubs.

“With respect to Kubo, Betis currently has three places for players who are very happy with them and are currently Betis players, so we are covered on that side. And in the case of Ceballos, we all know how great a player he is. He is, we know his past, he is a very interesting player as everyone knows, a great player. From there, we are going to see what works for the group, what team we make and what we are going to play.”
