Manchester City have launched a bid for Ligue 2 club Troyes AC.
The City Football Group (CFG) have been in talks to add a French club to their world-wide portfolio for some months.
L’Est Eclair says CFG had been in negotiations with AS Nancy Lorraine, but have now turned their attention to Troyes.
Indeed, it’s been reported CFG have lodged a €7m offer with Troyes president Daniel Masoni.
Troyes were relegated to Ligue 2 at the end of season 2018/19.
