In his remarks, Governor Lalong said his administration was determined to consolidate on the gains of polo in the state

He noted that hosting a tournament such as polo would promote tourism, economic prosperity, as well as open up Plateau State to the world.

Lalong said, “We are committed to consolidating on the peace of our state and also ensuring that we create economic opportunities for our people.

“Considering the realities of COVID-19 and the impact of the economic recession, my administration is more than ever determined to maximise all the advantages that sports provide for business opportunities.
