Teenage Liverpool midfielder Jake Cain has signed a new contract.
Cain is one of several youngsters to have broken into the first-team fold with the Reds this season.
The 18-year-old made his senior debut when he played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 FA Cup fourth round replay win over Shrewsbury Town in February.
Cain began training at the Academy at the age of five and has worked his way through the various age groups, and has trained regularly with the first team at Melwood this season.
He formally signed with Liverpool as an U9 and penned his first professional contract with the Reds last autumn.
