Premier League club Fulham have expressed hope that they can keep a hold of Cameroonian midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
The 24-year-old is a wanted man in the transfer market, with AC Milan, Internazionale and Villarreal – where Zambo Anguissa was on loan last season – expressing an interest.
Fulham manager Scott Parker is keen to keep the player in London, but admits that there are no guarantees while the transfer window remains open.
“It’s very important for us to keep him because of his quality. I see a real good platform for Frank this year, being in the Premier League, to show what he’s about,” Parker is quoted by Tribal Football.
“The problem is the uncertainty you have when the window is open and the season is on-going. It’s always a concern that someone comes in for one of your players.
“That’s what we’re living with. Let’s see where we are after the window closes.”
Zambo Anguissa could feature for the Cottagers this evening when they host Aston Villa in a round three Premier League clash.
