Fans ask Anderlecht to go for Moffi after expensive striker is sold

Fans have asked Anderlecht to now go for Terem Moffi after the Belgian giants offloaded striker Kemar Roofe, who failed to live up to the six million Euros they splashed on him.

Roofe has been transferred to Glasgow Rangers of Scotland.

The fans of the Brussels club were generally relieved that they have seen the back of Roofe, whose time at their darling club was marred by injuries.

Many of these supporters have now called on the Anderlecht top bosses via Twitter to sign Nigerian centre-forward Moffi, who took Belgium by storm when he scored four goals in seven league matches since his arrival in January.

Moffi, 21, has been one of the top strikers who have been linked with Anderlecht.

However, his club KV Kortrijk will be asking for more than five million Euros before they would let him go with still three years left on his contract.
