Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp admits he’s ready to return to fulltime coaching.

Bergkamp has been linked with a return to the Gunners in today’s English press, with it reported he’s been approached by manager Mikel Arteta about joining the coaching staff.

Bergkmap is quoted by Voetbalzone today stating: “I have to admit that it is starting to itch again to be on the field. That could be as a head coach, but also as a member of the technical staff. We will see what happens.

“I have no contact with Arsenal at the moment about a possible return.

“Let’s see what happens when I make a final decision about my future as a coach. Returning to Arsenal would of course be ideal. I played there for eleven years and the relationship with the club is still very close. Arteta? I am watching with a lot of interest, especially because he seems to want to change the football philosophy.”
