Craig Dawson hopes West Ham United can keep their FA Cup run alive after beating Stockport County in the third-round on Monday.
Dawson scored a late header for West Ham to claim a 1-0 in awful conditions at Edgeley Park.
The Hammers will face Doncaster Rovers in the next round and Dawson hopes they can continue to advance.
“It was a tough game, difficult for both sides but we stuck to our task and did very well in the end,” Dawson said.
“It was tough tonight. It’s been a while since I’ve played in conditions like that but it’s great to get a goal at the end. The goal was something we worked on in training. The lads put in a great shift and it was a great clean sheet.
“It was a tough match. Stockport are doing great in their league and it’s not easy coming to these grounds – so a great performance from the lads tonight.
“We’ll just take each game as it comes and hopefully keep the run going.”
