Club Brugge could let go record signing Okereke

Champions Club Brugge could let go record signing David Okereke, according to media reports.

Last season, Club Brugge set a new in-bound transfer record when they splashed out eight million Euros to sign Okereke from Spezia.

This transfer fee could even rise to 10 million Euros due to add-ons and bonuses.

However after a promising start last season, the striker has struggled to impress.

This season, he has only played a total of 34 minutes in the first three league games involving the champions after he lost his place in the first team.

Het Laaste Nieuws has now reported that Club Brugge are considering letting go Okereke, whose former team Spezia have won promotion to Serie A for the very first time in their history.
