Barcelona need to move on several fringe players before they can meet the price agreed with Inter Milan for Lautaro Martinez.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca and Inter have settled on a deal which would see Lautaro move to Barcelona in exchange for Junior Firpo plus €70m cash. Firpo is rated at €41m by the two clubs, so the proposal meeting Lautaro’s original €111m buyout clause.

However for the moment, Barca do not have the necessary cash for the deal to go through.

As such, Barca need to find buyers for fringe players Philippe Coutinho, Jean-Clair Todibo, Rafinha, Ivan Rakitic and Moussa Wague to help fund the move.

Also crucial to the deal is if Barca can move on one of their existing strikers, with Martin Braithwaite a prime candidate to make room for the expected incoming Lautaro.
