Rennes teenage sensation Georginio Rutter is attracting Premier League interest.
The Mirror says Arsenal are battling Newcastle, RB Leipzig, Lyon and AC Milan for Rutter.
The 18-year-old striker has turned down a new deal at the French club, and the race is on to snap him up – with a reported valuation of £10m pounds.
Rutter, described as a powerful, quick and technical forward, has impressed Arsenal’s scouts over the last year playing for Rennes B and the France U19s. And the Emirates club believe their are in pole position to secure a deal.
The player’s contract ends in June 2021 and although Rennes are trying to seal a new long-term deal, negotiations have stalled and they are now resigned to selling either now or in January.
