Steven Alzate and Aaron Connolly have signed new contracts with Brighton.

Brighton have been quick to get on with their summer business this week, signing Adam Lallana and Joel Veltman over recent days as well as young Wigan starlet Jensen Weir.

The Seagulls have also now moved to extend the deals of two current players in the shape of Colombian midfielder Steven Alzate and Republic of Ireland striker Aaron Connolly.

Both men are now under contract at Falmer Stadium until 2024.

Alzate said, “I am really pleased to commit my future to the club. Brighton have shown a huge amount of faith in me and I have been treated really well.”

And Connolly also stated: “It’s fantastic the club have given me this kind of security because it means I can push on now for the next four years. It will help me relax and enjoy my football even more.”
